Last night was Morgantown Community Church‘s Grow Team Banquet. This years’ theme was Nine 23, which will come up later. Stef runs the event and was at the door greeting people as they came in. We knew she was getting close and had been having contractions all day but we were determined to see the event through.

When it was time for the program to start Stef was having contractions consistently 4 minutes apart and they were getting stronger so she snuck to my office as I took her place on a few things. When I wasn’t in the front I was running around trying to find the people we needed to talk to. We are grateful for everyone who jumped in to make this event a success.

As soon as our “You Bet Your Wife” game ended it was time to go and we drove off to the birthing center. Before leaving Sarah Wright and Alison Mast snuck into my office to pray over the birth of our next child. Sarah prayed for a pain-free delivery, as much as possible.

We arrived at the birth center a little after 7:30 and by 9:23 (officially it’s 9:25 but I believe their clock was off) our fourth child entered the world!

Although the birthing process was not painless, it was the easiest so far on Stef. We believe that this is the result of prayers of faith!

Our newest family member is a beautiful young lady that weighed in at 7lb 8.8oz. She lays 21.5″ long.

I’m so thankful my mother-in-law already had our children and stayed late into the night with them.

We arrived home at 2 am this morning. Yep, you read that correctly. Because we don’t go to the hospital Stef got to attempt to sleep in our own bed without nurses waking her every 13.25 minutes.

At 6:30 am our beautiful baby girl cried a little and we heard a child in another room climbing out of bed. A came in smiling ear to ear about getting to meet and hold her baby sister. About 45 minutes later I and C joined the fun.

Everyone is healthy, but we could use some more sleep. ๐Ÿ˜ด

We are so thankful for everyone who has already been offering to help with meals, and for my Aunt for taking the older kids today so they didn’t miss their cousin’s birthday party, and we could get some rest.

Now you are still wondering the name, aren’t you? I decided not to post it just yet. But will give you two hints:

First Name – Read Acts 16:15 but keep in mind context matters.

Middle Name: Find the link between Nehemiah 8:10, Ester 8:17 and Philemon 1:7.

Last Name: A creature from Dungeons and Dragon that’s large (roughly 8 feet long), darkly colored worm or snake-like creature. Its beak is ringed by four barbed tentacles, which are its main weapons.
