Finally found a rhythm for Bible study I enjoy with the kids. I wanted them to be able to read Scripture and be able to learn to interpret it and apply it on their own without someone else telling them what they think it says first.

We started using these great (FREE) cards from Risen Motherhood that we go through before anything else–“Read, Observe, Interpret, Apply” they each have new notebooks, fun colored pens and highlighters to write about it or draw about the passage we read that day.

We are going through the book of Philippians and I also found a kids study taking only a few verses at a time on RightNow Media by Phil Vischer called “Philippians-Where Does Joy Come From?”

It is refreshing to read the Bible together and see what parts stand out to each of them!

What do you do to study the Bible with your kids?
